G25, Auto Clutch, Wheel rotation and Ver 1.250
I've been all over the joint and can't find a simple, straight forward answer to setting up the G25 with rFactor. Seems the ingame controls do dick all for controller settings. config.ini for this, player.plr for that....I'm going apeshit here.
By fiddling I've got a passable compromise for wheel rotation.
I can't, however, for the life of me get rid of rFactor operating the clutch for me on a manual shifting car. Seems I don't need the clutch pedal at all and unfortunately, when rFactor re-engages the clutch on the downshift I have to time everything to its desire, not mine. Much spinning and swearing has been had.
Does ANYONE have a simple solution to getting rFactor set up properly for the G25?

As noted above "...in game controls do dick all..." I can turn it on and off but nothing happens, the program still controls the clutch. I can set buttons and axes and sim controls, but I can't get rid of the auto clutch...hence my post.
But thanks for suggesting it.

Oh I will have to have a look as I thought there was a G25 profile or controller option within rF, but I am pretty sure you would have found that by now Durrie...?
Surely you can get it all to work as it should in such a wonderful game
(sorry couldn't resist)

I did indeed find the in game G25 default profile, but that is for paddle shift, and the whole thing about the G25 is the 6 speed shifter and clutch. I was going to try and teach myself heel and toe...but its all a bit pointless when you can just move the stick and forget about the clutch....until it re-engages and then you're stuffed...depending on the car you are in.
