Q: .06s off my PB and I could still only crack 12th. If I had managed my PB, I'd have been 11th.

R1: I took an early pit on lap 3 or so with nuttyboy, which left us far behind the field. I then chased him down over the next 20 something laps, with us both making enough mistakes to balance the other out before finally I was able to capitalise on a mistake he made exiting T1. That was hard work!

R2: After the quicks squeezed through the pack, I decided to target Harky as my person to beat. He was a position or two ahead of me, and his times looked like mine. Then I hit a wall, losing a bunch of places to ARC-Russ, Zarrac, Bitb and Zarrac. I trailed them for a while, slowly making ground on them. Then I hit a wall. Lonely times followed, until ARC-Russ messed up and fell off that group. I chased him for a while, even getting in touching distance. Then I hit a wall and spun. That was it. I lapped out the rest of the race in relative isolation. It was good while it lasted.

I didn't manage to finish on the lead lap this week. In R1 I was taken with a few hundred metres to the line, in R2 I was taken a whole lap before my time.

what an interesting night.

Q. qualled with a pb, and was last in A, would have been 10th in B (3rd last). There really is something wrong with this system!

R1. Had a feeling that, like last week most would pit in the first race, so the strategy was to pit in the second. It worked well along with some consistent laps and a few more pb's. Almost got under the 04. Managed to finish in 8th, which has done my cause no good at all to return to B. If the whole field had of not pitted then I would have been near to last.

R2. Got caught out by a slow moving pack through the chicane, lightly tapped Cursed (I think) and then lost the rear momentarily before copping a hit the arse (steady Greeky) and spearing off. By the time I recovered I had lost heaps of ground and pretty much spent the rest of the race on my own. Had to pit of course which didn't help. Did manage a few more pb's and finally got under the 04 mark. Managed also to get in the way of Andy and Vt as they were trying to lap me, sorry guys, has been a while since I was in this situation.

Was really disapointed with the amount of drivers that turned up to race last night, we have nearly 40 drivers signed up to race this series, I think we had 3 entries in the "I cant race thread" and only 24 drivers turn up on the night!!! If numbers dont improve we will be forced back to one server again, and people WILL miss out if they cant fit on the night.

Thanks to Bitb for the replays and backup on the night. :tits:

I had a pretty good nights racing.
Never got enought practice in, so I was playing catchup from the start.

Qual: Managed a pb in qual at the start, then used the rest of the session for race
set practice.

Race1: Pitted in race one and managed to make up a few spots, with Maz having engine trouble, thought I might keep Schulz behind when he had a DT but I just wasn't quick enough...

Race2: Had a really interesting race 2 when I kept getting cought up in other peoples incidents, which meant that after having diced my way past Zarrac, russell and travy (who I think might have been carrying some damage). I had to do it all again and then later Harky. But the dicing was really fun. Hat of to all of them for some really tight racing.

That was even more enjoyable than last week but ...... fn hard work.

I stayed off the walls until R2 25th or 26th lap with Zarrac 2s behind me I gassed it up a bit too early exiting the right hander after the chicane and "tank slapped" into the wall. Zarrac passed me and I couldn't quite get close enough to hold a pass so finished 7th which I think would be my best ever finish in "A". But even better was actually racing you guys in R2 - great fun. Sorry if I had any poor form, driving side by side is still coming back to me.

Had a fairly quiet night, really.

Borrowed Andy's wr set for qual (thanks for posting it, mate) and managed to bring my pb down to a low 1:02. I was happy to qual in front of Travy & Maz because I usually suck at qualifying.

Race 1: I started with enough fuel to finish the race, just to give myself some options in case nobody pitted. Turns out everybody pitted and I tried to put some good laps down in clear air. I managed to catch Travy napping when he thought I wasn't pitting. :) Did my stop on lap 27 and came out 2.5 seconds in front of him and just had to drive two laps with 30% fuel.

Race 2: Got through the mayhem quite fortunately, I apologise to anyone I inadvertently smashed into. Loppy and nutty then had their little meeting so I made it to 4th. Then I had a very boring bunch of laps because I was faster than those behind, and slower than schulzy & Maz (and Andy) in front.

The only excitement was when Maz lost it or burned his tyres on the last lap and went from 12 seconds in front to 3.

Anyway, it would be nice if people turned up - it would have been a lot more fun with 20+ people.
